The Chesterfield Falcon 40 Preservation Group was founded in August 2009 to save the last surviving
Chesterfield Dennis Falcon TWJ 340Y fleet number 40. After 4 months fund raising 40 was finally purchased from Express Motors, Penygroes moving to Sheffield on
December 13th 2009.
In July 2010 the group purchased ex Chesterfield Leyland National VKU 78S fleet number 78 which along with 40 we had hoped
to restore to its original condition.
Regretfully, mainly through lack of money, things did not work out. More information

However, the good news is that a replacement vehicle is on its way: watch this space!
We raise funds through our online
SALES STALL
. We attend rallies with our stall selling a variety of transport related
items. We are in constant need of new stock and welcome donations of photos, slides, models, transport memorabilia or DVDs. If you would
